Seeing Cher in movies just made her seem so much more famous. It’s amazing what some people can do. I remember when she said she was retiring, leaving the spotlight, and held an extended farewell tour. Now she’s back!! (Or did she ever leave?) I think she enjoys performing too much to give it up. After all, it’s not like she needs the money, right?

I never actually saw the entire “Mask” film, but I do remember one scene that stuck out for me. Cher was playing the mother. But later she apologized, and it turns out the kid had 2 other copies of the same card! That scene was kind of a downer, but Cher’s live performances are usually bright, positive, and thrilling. Especially thrilling for the truly fanatical. And the odds are good some of you are Cher-aholics, given that Cher has won so many awards for doing such a sensational job, year in, year out!
